20th Century Quaker, Thomas Kelley wrote,” Over the margins of life comes a whisper, a faint call, a premonition of richer living which we know we are passing by. We have hints that there is a way of life vastly richer and deeper than all this hurried existence, a life of unhurried serenity and peace and power. If only we could slip over into that Center! If only we could find the Silence which is the source of sound!”

Fort Erie SPCA Christmas Photo Day

St Pauls cat gets into Christmas Spirit a picture with Santa Claus

The S.P.C.A. of Fort Erie held a fundraising photo opportunity for residents of Fort Erie and Area to have their pets picture taken with Santa or Christmas attire December 17 at St Paul’s Anglican Church.

Wendy, Manager of the SPCA said, “It was very successful and well received day with lots of photos taken by Chris of Lakeshore Photography. Our appreciation goes to the people of St Paul’s for hosting us for this event, this venue worked very well.”

Cameron – the Parish Cat – was adopted by the Parish from the S.P.C.A. approximately three years ago.

St Nicks Ladies with Rector

St. Nick's Day Publicity

The St Nicks Ladies of St Paul’s Anglican Church host a shopping day for children on the first Saturday in December. This event is greatly anticipated every year, with this year topping 175 shoppers. Items are priced between .05 cents to $ 5.00 and each child is accompanied by a ‘Shepherd’ to help assist with their shopping.
